Best Practices - OpenSocial

From The Socknet

Jump to: navigation, search

OpenSocial is a specification for hosting applications on a social network. The Socknet was specifically designed to avoid application platforms. But providers, as always, are free to provide anything to their users.

If you're interested in running some sort of platform on a Socknet Provider, OpenSocial is recommended because it is open. Aside from being a platform, its philosophy fits in with the Socknet very nicely.
